“We are always looking for ways to enhance our menu offerings,” says President and CEO Eric Wolfe. “It’s about sandwiches you can’t find in a normal sub shop. It’s part of our culture. We’re so excited to offer our guests something new and unique to try.”
Smart strategies drive healthy sales
Our sandwich franchise brand is built on quality and creativity, and our Fit and Flavorful wraps showcase both perfectly.
We introduced them recently as a limited-time offering, but they were already so successful that they’re now a part of our regular menu. We’re always looking for innovative ways to give our guests what they want. The wraps are a great way to deliver fresh, flavorful ingredients with new twists like Sabra garlic hummus, with the added bonus of creating a lower-calorie option for our health-conscious guests.
“We are definitely focused on light and healthy and giving more options to our guests. People are looking for healthier options, and we need to fill that slot for them,” says Wolfe. “So far, it’s been doing well for us.”
Guests love seeing something new at their favorite place, so introducing different menu items can drive increased sales. They bring in new guests and encourage more frequent visits from loyal fans who are happy to have more to love at E&G.
Fresh ideas give our established brand a healthy future
After 30 years of success, it’s just as important as it’s always been to keep things fresh and exciting for our brand.
Our fresh approach includes things like smart use of social media to tell our story, such as the mystery countdown that introduced our Fit and Flavorful wraps. It engaged our guests and got them excited to head down to their neighborhood E&G to try the new menu items.
And we’re looking for fresh faces, too, with plenty of room for interested entrepreneurs to open a sandwich shop of their own.
“The entry cost into our business is reasonable for owner-operators,” says Wolfe. “For people looking for something different from corporate America, it gives them the opportunity to say, ‘You know, I’m tired of working for somebody else, I want to own my own deal.’ That’s who we want to work with.”
