Entrepreneur ranked Erbert and Gerbert’s one of the best sandwich franchise opportunities. Find out how we’re starting our 30th anniversary in style.
Entrepreneur magazine has ranked Erbert and Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop on the 2018 Franchise 500, marking our third straight year on the prestigious list and placing us among the best sandwich franchises in the country. With more than 100 locations in 16 states, we offer strong backing to franchisees without sacrificing the personal touch that helps them succeed.

30 years as one of the best sandwich franchises around
The Franchise 500 ranking is a great way to celebrate as we ring in our 30th anniversary in the sandwich business. We have a long history in this business, and our experience has helped us fine-tune our operations to develop an excellent guest experience while helping franchisees run a better business.
But while we celebrate our past, we continue to take our brand forward with fresh food and fresh ideas. For example, we recently added some exciting new items: Fit and Flavorful Wraps that add new flavors and lower-calorie options to our menu alongside our classic favorites.

Fresh food and fresh ideas
Our marketing and support take a local focus to help franchisees become fixtures in their communities, the go-to spot for everything from catered school events to a quick lunch delivered to work. Everything about our systems is designed to create a more rewarding small business ownership experience, focused on providing great food to smiling guests in your neighborhood.
And we’ve bolstered our marketing team with our new Director of Marketing & Brand Development, Jeremy Burke, and our new Marketing Project Manager, Jill Brenner. Their marketing leadership will leverage our brand’s strong history while moving us forward with fresh and innovative messaging to consumers.
Burke and Brenner share an alma mater in University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, in Erbert and Gerbert’s hometown. Burke was recently the Brand & Creative Lead with Buffalo Wild Wings, helping to build the brand from 100 to 1,000 units, while Brenner was Director of Marketing & Corporate Sponsorships for Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, Inc., and worked with food contracts and vendor relationships.
“It was important to choose individuals with specific experience in the food service industry, as well as the creative ability and talent to execute marketing direction and initiatives tailored to our brand, our consumer and our franchisees,” says Eric Wolfe, President and CEO.
